In a time where it’s okay to turn up to the corporate office in trainers and bomber jackets, it’s always nice when you finding collections that echo the sport luxe way of thinking.
Given that trousers and trainers (white courts only folks) is now my go to uniform on a daily basis, it was time to find some additional pieces that weren’t black or navy.
Native Youth have been on the scene for some time now, bring that Scandinavian style with the British design influence rolled into one. In good fashion (pun intended) we dig into the new SS17 collection, to get a feel of the new Native Youth styles.
The Native Youth SS17 collection focuses on structured denims, light linen mixes and soft suedes. In my case it’s all about the earthy tones and light linen textures.
My outfit of choice is the linen grey marl pieces, in both the short sleeve shirt and the trousers. As spring is now starting to break through. So does the thoughts of a short sleeve season.
The grey short sleeve from Native Youth is a great piece to match with black or navy bottoms, finished with a bomber jacket and clean white sneakers.
Then for another look check out these grey linen trousers, ideal for the warmer weather to come. Match these up with those white court shoes of your choice on the lower, with a lightweight bomber or jumper for the upper.
There is more where that came from in the Native Youth SS17 collection, with pieces like collarless outerwear and woven t-shirts, which are key for the season.
The first drop is on its way soon so if you’re keen to see more, check out the Native Youth website here.
