I am particularly loving the meat craze that is and has been sweeping through London just now. So it was with much excitment that I booked in to Meat Mission to sample their very meaty menu.
Part of the chain that started with Meat Liquor, this venue located in Hoxton not only has the walk in policy known for these establishments but it also has an area that can be booked on a first come, first served basis. A good option to make sure you get your meat fix when on a date.
Our group decided we should sample a bit of everything so we order a burger, philly steak, spicy chicken nuggets, sausage and chips and the ‘Garbage pile’ which was basically a roast dinner on a bed of chips.
Known for it’s meat, the meat was obviously bloody brilliant. However, the small but perfectly formed burger was the stand out for me. Juicy, very tender, and sooooo moreish we all could have eaten one and still saved room for more. If you love burgers, then you have to try a Meat Mission burger.
A word of warning though, the joint is very busy, so the top tip is to get down early so you dont end up waiting in the queue. However, if you do, it is worth the wait!
