May 13th was officially World Cocktail Day, but with the way things are under quarantine it’s a little different to how we would usually enjoy it.
The situation amongst our shores is far from ideal but in these unusual times, all we can do is adapt and evolve the things we love to do. Moët Hennessy took this exact approach, by bringing the bars to all our households.
Yesterday we celebrated world cocktail day as Moët Hennessy released four tasty cocktails to make the lockdown evenings a little more interesting. Using their portfolio of spirits, we made amazing cocktails such as the Belvedere Almond Milk Punch, Hennessy & Ginger, Glenmorangie Ginger & Honey Highball and the Ardbeg Shortie’s Dirty Daiquiri.
Despite the staying at home rules and social distancing taken to a whole new level, here are four new cocktails that you expect to enjoy in a bar, you can now replicate and enjoy at your home. All drinks are also made with zero waste in mind, from some relatively simple ingredients already sitting in your homes.
You at home can also have the chance to join in a masterclass yourself, as Moët Hennessy are teaming up with Clos19.com to host a public virtual masterclass On May 20th at 5pm. All will be able to tune into their Instagram live for its first virtual cocktail masterclass, hosted by Belvedere brand ambassador, Mark Tracey and American Bar, Savoy bartender Jake O’Brien Murphy.
For more information on the virtual cocktail masterclass, ingredients, spirits and equipment needed to prepare the cocktails, visit Clos19 for all the details.
And if you can’t hit that up, you’re in luck. Whilst shaking away in our kitchens together we took note of the recipes, so you can all craft these fine cocktails at your leisure:
