Art of Football x Gillette Limited Jersey

Gillette, a brand we’ve all grown to know and often love, has collaborated with football culture and lifestyle brand ART OF FOOTBALL to release a limited-edition ‘The Best a Man Can Get’ jersey.

The partnership and creation of the jersey, honours the remake of Gillettes iconic anthem. ‘The best a man can get’ (unofficially the anthem across the summer of football in 2024). Inspired by the 1989 roots of the original track, this jersey gives nods to the heritage of Gillette. But more importantly, 100% of the profits from sales goes to Football Beyond borders, a longstanding education and social inclusion charity partner.

Emblazoned below a crisp oversized white collar – synonymous with the 80’s era and reflective of the fashion in the original TV advert – is the bold white ‘The Best a Man Can Get’ logo, intentionally unmissable much like the track was during the summer.  This is complimented by a Gillette-blue base and stipple gradient-repeat pattern – a throwback to iconic kit designs from the late ‘80s, representing a razor shaving through stubble.

Core brand references feature within the design, including an embroidered custom crest for the jersey, inspired by the Gillette Company logo from 1989. Known for their precision blades, the sleeve features a five-blade motif with hints of neon green, synonymous with the brand’s Gillette Labs collection – providing the ultimate shave.

As of January 15th 2025, the Gillette x ART OF FOOTBALL jersey will be available to purchase – RRP £60 – for a limited amount of time via Art of Football. 100% of the profits from each jersey sale will go to Football Beyond Borders, an education and social inclusion charity using the power of football to change the lives of young people.
