Pitti Uomo 105 came in faster than expected and it couldn’t have been a better way to start the new year off. We were back at the Fortezza once again to talk and see all things tailoring.
As per usual the most stylish of not only Italy, but the world, flock back to the 16th century fort in Florene for the bi-annual menswear fair.
The theme for Pitti Uomo 105 this year was If ‘time’ which was fairly evident the moment you walk into the center of the Fortezza, warped by the sound of forever ticking screens displaying various times.
Before you even get to the inner dimension of time (aka the center square of the Fortezza) you are met with two large clocks hanging off the entrance wall to the Fortezza. A perfect way to allude you to what Pitti’s theme is going to be all about.
We were fortunate enough to get to see some of our favourite brands such as Kiton, Incotex, Bennet & Winch, Grenfell and WM BROWN for the bi-annual Negroni party. But our main reason on the field, was to capture as much of the stylish coming in and out of the Fortezza throughout this winter’s season of Pitti Uomo.
