Subscription boxes are hugely popular, and thanks to Mr Maketh-The-Man himself I was treated to a few months of the wonderfully meaty Carnivore Club. If you are fan of cured meats then this is certainly something you’ll want! Each month the fine folks at Carnivore Club send you a selection of meats from a top British producer, in what has to be said, is a rather delightfully designed box.
Included in the box was storage information and a detailed history of that months supplier. Also included are various serving suggestions, for example making a pasta sauce out of spreadable chorizo. There were also drinks recommendations included which were always excellent and really complemented the meat. The quality of the products supplied meant that just tucking straight into a salami or slice of carpaccio was all that was needed for me.
If you can feel your inner carnivore roaring for something special, then join the club, because in my experience, you won’t be disappointed.
