This year the high street is definitely smartening up. Almost every major clothing retailer has pushed the boundaries and created a suiting range to fit amongst its mainline collection. Now whilst quality and heritage is a little questionable with some retailers, its always good to see when someone does it right.
Matalan has done just that with its latest partnership with celebrity Welsh designer Julian Macdonald. With a selection of beautifully designed day and evening suits, with stunning accessories to go with every look this is a truly stunning range, especially when you consider the price point of about £100.
Julian made sure that attention to detail was very important in every item that he did. Everything from the buttons on the shirts, to the stitching on the bow ties were carefully thought out to make sure that the premiumness of the collection shined through. As Julian said:
