Tateossian Salt & Pepper Cufflinks |
Respect where respect is due, and I have a lot of it for Robert Tateossian. Working in finance in the City of London, Robert longed to change his fortunes and follow one of his passions, jewellery. So Tateossian was established in 1990 and he quickly established the brand and himself as the ‘King of Cufflinks’.
Based in London, Tateossian is an international company of over 70 employees with showrooms in London and New York. From Siberia to Saudi Arabia, Tateossian sells in over 50 countries around the world, with more than 1,000 points of sale, in the most prestigious, fashionable boutiques and department stores – Tsum in Moscow, Harrods in London, Saks in New York and Isetan in Tokyo to name a few.
Tateossian is famous for creating the most cutting edge and quirky cufflinks. One of the more extraordinary collection has to be the Spazio Collection. This is made up of precious stones and materials sourced from all around the world including dinosaur bone, meteorite and black diamonds. Set in sterling silver and with only 25 of each pair available, every set is unique in its appearance.
The Dinosaur originated from Moab, Utah and is the most colourful ever found in the world. The meteorite dates from prehistoric times and originated in Gibeon, Namibia – they are both completely untouched and in their natural state. So if you fancy owning a pair of these statement cufflilnks get on over to Tateossian whilst they still exist.
