Everyone loves an exclusive, and during London Fashion Week I was invited down to the ALLSAINTS oldest store in Earlham Street London to witness it’s new Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. This was an exclusive unveiling to selected press and bloggers, so I was honoured to be part of the select few.
At the event ALLSAINTS Creative Director Wil Beedle was on hand to take me through the collection, and offer his creative inspirations behind the brand he has been designing for over 10 years now. As Wil stated he was really excited to be working on this collection, as it offered a coherent collage of different layers to the brand with depth and texture fundamental elements.
Whilst this post, and the event, was very much top secret I was excited to see the oversized jewellery on display and the attention to detail on the tablet cases including the luxury leathers and distressing techniques the brand is famous for.
The Earlham Street store is currently under a major refurbishment but it did have some key pieces on show from its new fixtures and fittings. ALLSAINTS are putting as much detail on its retail spaces as it does to its clothes collection so a focus on Sheffield steel, and British cow hides was abundant (and nice to see it’s keeping it within the UK).
The brand has also produced this great video showcasing its design process on it’s footwear. Everything from modelling to hand cut leathers can be seen here, and gives you an insight into the processes involved for the brand.

More to follow on the new collection, so until then, check out the website for its current SS13 pieces.
