Over 30% of people in the UK would rather lose their wallet, than their mobile phone in a study conducted by YouGov in 2011. Well with fashion blogger’s that stat must be closer to 100% with the reliance on devises to communicate with friends, colleagues, PR’s, and of course updating their blogs and social media platforms.
One of the trends that has come out of the rise of the fashion blogger is #OOTD. This is the phenomenon of Outfit Of The Day, when a picture is taken of said bloggers ensemble in front of a large mirror and uploaded to a number of different social media platforms. It has given birth to fashion inspirations and outfits being made available to a global audience.
I do sometimes partake in the #OOTD posts, which always features my trusted Samsung Galaxy S3 from Carphone Warehouse. The camera on the device is brilliant, so much so that I have stopped carrying around my compact camera and simply use my mobile. Enabling me to upload great pictures online with the touch of a button.
But it wouldnt be my phone without tailoring it to my own style. So over the Olympics I had a TEAMGB white cover, but since the summer of sport is now behind us, I have swapped to a more traditional / Scottish themed cover.
Which is none other than Ted Bakers tartan inspired flying duck wallpaper (I know, what a great find!). There are many other types of cases available so you too can accessorise your phone in anyway or even to match your #OOTD.
This is a sponsored post, but I own the phone so naturally loved writing about it.
