Taxidermy inspired jewellery is something I love. Whilst I have my own selection of real life bug bracelets available on Maketh-The-Man, I love seeing what other people do with insects. So when Rachel Boston was introduced to me by Domestic Sluttery (thanks ladies!), I was blown away.
Creating everything in her East London workshop, Rachel designs jewellery for both men and women. Her most recent collection ‘The Protector’ is highlighted above and takes inspiration from beetles and scorpions organic and aggressive forms.
I particularly love the Stag beetle necklace which needs to be in my jewellery cabinet very soon. Just don’t tell the girlfriend as she will no doubt try and ‘borrow’ it.
